STATEMENT OF FAITH (abbreviated)

1. We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and is totally inspired by the Holy Spirit of God. It is eternal, without error or contradiction, unchangeable, and irrefutable. 2 Peter 1:21; 2 Timothy 3:16; Isaiah 40:8; Hebrews 6:17,18; Romans 3:3,4
This church shall be built upon the faithful preaching and teaching of the Word of God, which shall serve as our defense against all apostate tendencies and any other religion, person, or organizations which oppose the precious doctrines found therein. Eph. 4:14-16; Tit. 1:9
The KJV will be the only text from which our pastor or guest speakers will preach, our teachers shall teach, and the only Bible which will be encouraged for use by and within this local church. Psa. 12:6,7; 119:152...Deut. 4:2; Rev. 22:18,19 with 1 Thess. 2:13

2. We believe in the Triune Godhead of Father, Son and Spirit, who are equally and eternally God. 1 John 5:5-7; John 15:26; Matthew 3:16,17; 28:19,20; 2 Corinthians 13:14

3. We believe that God alone is the Creator-Sustainer of this complex universe and that things were created suddenly and supernaturally for His glory. Revelation 4:11
We believe that the Genesis account of creation is the only trustworthy and literal accounting of the origin of all things and that man, the greatest of his creation was made in "His own image". Hebrews 11:1,3; John 1:3; 1Corinthians 8:6; Psalm 100:3; Genesis 1:27; 2:7

4. We believe that Christ is God the Son, fully Divine, equal and eternal with the Father and Holy Spirit. We believe in His Incarnation, through the miraculous conception of the Virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit, whereupon he assumed sinless and perfect humanity enabling Him to become the necessary Sacrifice and Substitute for our sins, thus, obtaining eternal redemption for us through paying the full ransom for the penalty of our sin. 5. We believe in the personality and Deity of the Holy Spirit who is equal and eternal with the Father and Son. He is engaged in the work of regeneration imparting spiritual life to the believing sinner. He baptizes us into the full value of the work of Christ and places us into full union within Christ's Body, the Church. He permanent indwells every believer, seals and secures our salvation and sets us apart unto God. 6. We believe in the personality and reality of the Devil, Satan, who in pride and rebellion against God was cast from heaven and is become the arch enemy of God and the believer. Ezekiel 28:12-19; Isaiah 14:12-14; John 8:44; 2 Peter 2:4; 5:8

7. We believe that the angels are spirit beings created by God - Colossians 1:16,17. We believe that some of these angels sinned with Satan in his revolt against God and are cohort with him in their ambition to thwart the purposes of God. This they will do in failure insuring the final doom with the Devil. Ephesians 6:12; James 2:19; 2 Corinthians 12:7; 1 Thessalonians 2:18; Acts 19:13-15; 1 John 4:4

8. We believe that Adam was created in innocency; but through voluntary and willful transgression sinned against his Creator and fell from this sinless and happy estate forfeiting relationship to his Maker and thus becoming a sinner, totally depraved and separated from God. Accompanying this willful act of sin, he immediately was separated from God, resulting in a depraved and sinful state and eventual physical death.
We believe that all of mankind proceed from Adam, and as such bear the sin nature, being conceived in sin and proven sinners by act. This sinful state incurs condemnation with guilt and the just judgment of God placing all of mankind in need of the forgiveness of their sin through the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross. 9. We believe that salvation is wholly the work of God based upon Divine sacrifice, and that Jesus Christ, the Son of God "gave His life a ransom for many" and "bore our sins in His own body on the tree", and "without the shedding of His blood there can be no remission of sin". Mark 10:45; 1 Peter 1:18,19; 2:24; Ephesians 1:7; Hebrews 9:22 Once saved, the believing sinner is acquitted and delivered from the just penalty of sin (past), the power of sin (present), and the eventual presence of sin (future), and that our salvation is provided by God through the Person of Jesus Christ and none other. We believe that faith in the "finished work" of Jesus Christ, accompan-ied by sincere repentance, is the only basis for salvation; and that salvation is wholly by divine grace, and that no works, no matter however good, can obtain our salvation or make it more secure. Acts 3:19; 26:20; 16:31; Ephesians 2:8,9; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:1-13
We believe that God is not willing that any should perish but that all might come to repentance; therefore salvation is offered freely to all who will receive Christ as their personal Savior and His work of redemption as complete satisfaction and final payment of our sin. 2 Peter 3:9; John 1:12

10. We believe that God has exhorted every believer to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ"; that He has provided for the believer "all things which pertain to life and godliness" through the power of Christ's life within us, enabling us to be all that God desires us to be; that every believe should "walk worthy of his calling" being separated from all apostasy, worldly and sinful pleasures, practices and associations and given wholly unto the Lord. 2 Pet. 3:18; 1:3,4; 1 Thessalonians 1:9 ; Ephesians 4:1; 1 John 2:15-17

11. We believe in the imminent, pre-tribulational return of Christ in the air to rapture His Bride, the Church, which is made up of only truly born again believers who have been bought with His precious Blood. We also believe in the bodily, personal, visible, pre-millennial return of Christ to earth with His saints to establish His Kingdom here on earth for 1000 years. 1 Corinthians 15:51-53; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Acts 1:10,11; Matthew 24:30,31; Revelation 19:11-16

12. We believe in the literal, eternal, conscious abode of the righteous in Heaven and of the unsaved in the Lake of Fire. John 14:1-3; 1 Peter 1:3-5; Rev. 21:1-8; Matthew 25:46; Luke 16:19-31; Revelation 20:1-15
